This is John Stossel's 20/20 special which originally aired in 1999. When I first saw this back in '99, it really opened my eyes to the incredible importance of government's economic policy to the wealth of ALL of its citizens. Especially relevant today as our economy is being "fundamentally transformed" this is the fundamental knowledge that EVERY American should understand.
But this is no dry lecture---- It is simple enough for most average people to understand yet profound truths are demonstrated by very eclectic assortment of experts and average people. And it is presented with the persistently entertaining wit of John Stossel!
